Vintage Folding Slate Chalkboard Desk / Easel in Red and Green Slate (c.1950s)

Not sure how many times this phrase has been written on this folding chalk board, but it sure has stood the test of time!

This folding chalk board easel includes a green slate chalk board that folds down to form a desk. The chalkboard is double-sided, so whether it is folded down or up like an easel, it can be used to write on. The desk includes a vibrant red painted header that can be used as a bulletin board. There is also a red pocket to hold chalk and other desk supplies. When the desk is not in use, it folds up flat for easy storage.

This piece would look great in an office or studio, as well as in a playroom. Put it in your kitchen and use it to write your grocery list. So many ways to use this cool piece!

ITEM CONDITION
This chalkboard desk / easel is in very good vintage condition. The green slate has no breaks or cracks in it and is very clean. The red painted surfaces are also in very good condition with just minor scraps and scratches and a small portion of red paint that is gone (looks like a white line in the photo). The wood is strong and secure. The wood on the backside of the easel has discoloration on it, as shown, and the very bottom of one of the wood legs also has some discoloration.
