"The Boners Omnibus - By Those Who Pulled Them"...
Illustrated by Dr. Seuss and Virginia Huget

From the front inside flap: "Out of the mouths of babes comes the material of this book - babes, at least, compared to their forbears among the Story-Tellers. Teachers of history, of literature, of French and German and Latin, of grammar and rhetoric, of the Holy Book and of the spelling book, have racked their memories and remembered such gems of succinct misinformation as "The Acropolis was the she-wolf that nursed Romeo and Juliet" or "Virgil is the mother of Christ." With the tremendous success of the original volumes, misinformation assumed its rightful place in the American home, relegating the more exact sciences to the dusty cupboards and shelves. Three volumes of these gems are gathered together for the first time in this book - as gusty and ingenious a lot as could be begged, borrowed, copied, or contributed. They have been appropriately illustrated by those two masters of the ga-ga - Dr. Theophrastus Seuss and Virginia Huget. But before you embark on these treasures, take head of the old adage - "A peek is worth two furnaces.""

Add this 1931 First Edition book to your collection, or give it as a gift.

Of course, you could also use this book for decoupage or collage work - either the original pages, or digital scans of the pages. Use the pages to wrap small gifts, or to create artist trading cards. So many clever possibilities!
