Koegel's Quality American Red Hots... Collectible glass storage jar.
This large Anchor Hocking ribbed glass jar used to hold pickled Red Hot frankfurters - a classic from Koegel Meats.
Koegel Meats started in 1916 by Albert Koegel in Michigan, and they started producing meat products in the 1930s. The company is still in business today!
Add this jar to your collection - it would look perfect on a shelf in a kitchen, perhaps filled with Red Hot candies! This large jar would also be great in a craft room or studio to hold craft supplies - a nice touch of early Americana.
So many possibilities for this jar
This large glass jar is in very good vintage condition. There are no cracks, chips, or breaks in the glass. The glass is very clean and has no cloudy areas. The glass is a heavy-duty thick glass. The metal screw-on lid is easy to take off and put back on. The top of the lid does have scratches and wear marks, as shown, but the inside of the lid is still pretty clean, as shown. The original label is still completely affixed to the jar. There are a few small tears and a little bit of staining on the label, as shown. The bottom of the jar has the Anchor Hocking logo embossed in it. Please use the ZOOM tool to get a close up view of this item and its condition.
