Vintage Galvanized Metal Pail with Handle, 9 inches deep (c.1930s)

Large galvanized metal pails have so many creative uses!

Fill the bucket with fresh cut flowers and use it as a vase, or use it to store tools or craft supplies. You could even use it as a personal ice bucket on the deck or patio in the summer - just add ice and your favorite bottled beverage or two. Set the pail in an entryway and use it to hold your mail. Use the bucket for washing your car, or for picking berries. Add a layer of sand to the pail, then add long white taper candles and you have unique lighting for a deck, patio party, garden, or even for a wedding.

ITEM CONDITION:
This galvanized metal pail is in very good vintage condition. There are no breaks or cracks in the metal, and only a few minor dings. The metal has an aged patina. One side of the metal has oxidation and surface rust, as shown in the third photo, this could be cleaned. The inside of the pail is pretty clean, with some areas of surface rust. The handle is securely attached and is still strong. The pail does hold water. It looks like there is a number 10 embossed in the bottom of the pail.
