A Friend or Two.... A Greeting Book
There's all of pleasure and all of peace
in a friend or two;
And all your troubles may find release
With a friend or two;
It's in the grip of the clasping hand
On native soil or in alien land,
But the world is made....
do you understand?....
Of a friend or two.
This charming book was published in 1925, written by Wilbur D. Nesbit. It was a greeting book that you would purchase as a gift for a friend. The pages are double-fold pages and have a variety of bird illustrations on each page. Very sweet.
Add the book to your collection, give it as a gift, or turn it into something new!
This vintage book is in very good condition, especially considering it's age. There are no rips or tears, or folded corners on the pages. The pages have all yellowed with age. The pages are still firmly bound together, and the binding is tight. The dust jacket shows normal wear around the edges, as shown. The hardcover shows a bit of staining along the bottom edge on both the front and back page, but the interior pages are fine. The owners name is written in pen on the inside cover. The paper cover on the first cover page has ripped to expose the staples, as shown in the third photo. Please use the ZOOM tool to get a close up view of this item and it's condition.
