Gottlieb and Rudolph Blatter... Aunt Lizzie's Brothers...
We think every face tells a story. What was the story of these young men?
Gottlieb and Rudolph Blatter, Aunt Lizzie's brothers from Iowa. We know that Rudolph was born in 1878 in Switzerland and lived in Chester Iowa. His wife was Amelia (born in 1886). Together they had a son, Herman (b.1904); a daughter Rosa (b.1907); and another daughter Elsie (b.1919). Rudolph was born 9/12/1877 and died on 7/17/1959. He is buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lime Springs Iowa.

ITEM CONDITION
This antique photograph is in very good vintage condition. The photo cabinet card has very minor edge wear. The photo itself is in very good condition for it's age. The back of the photograph has handwriting on it that says "Uncle Gotlieb and brother Rudolph Blatter, Aunt Lizzie's brothers". The photo studio was W. Brown, Cresco, Iowa.
