Vintage Miniature Homer Spy Camera with Original Leather Case (1950s)

It was a cloudy day in downtown metropolis. You were tracking a potential hostile agent through the streets, and you followed him to a busy coffee shop. As you stride in, you see the agent sitting at one of the window tables, casually reading the menu as he rests his foot on the black briefcase he brought in. You walk over to a table in the back, and prop up the paper menu on the table before you, pretending to read. What no one else in the cafe sees, however, is the small camera you slip out of your trench coat and hold in your lap, quietly taking pictures of the other agent as evidence. You notice another agent walk into the cafe, holding a briefcase identical to the one the first agent had. The second agent walks casually past the first one, pretending to trip on his shoelace as he passes. Apologizing for his clumsiness, he drags himself up off the floor, picking up the first agent's briefcase. Mission accomplished, you think to yourself. Later the next day, you bring the pictures to your commanding officer to review. After pointing out you took pictures of two of your own agents swapping briefcases, he tells you to take a vacation, maybe drink a few cups of coffee. Guess you should have been more careful who you snapped those pictures of...

ITEM CONDITION
This Miniature Camera set is in very good vintage condition. The camera shows very little wear, as shown. The shutter works, as does the rewind knob at the top of the camera. While it appears that the camera would still work, it is untested as we do not have film for the camera. The leather case is in good condition, the leather strap is missing, as shown. The leather case is embossed with Homer. The camera is marked Homer, Made in Japan. Please use the ZOOM tool to see a close up view of this item and it's condition.
