This 1-A Pocket Kodak folding camera makes an excellent collectible camera!
The "A" in the model number stands for "Autographic" mode. The camera has a sliding door on the back that allows the photographer to access the backside of the roll of film in the camera. Using a stylus tool, you can scratch a couple of lines of text onto the back of the film, in a way, "autographing" the film. The camera uses 116 film, which was created specifically for autographic use.
This camera has automatic shutter speeds of 1/25 and 1/50 seconds, and features both a standard B shutter mode and a T mode. When in B mode, the shutter stays open as long as the trigger is pressed, and in T mode, a single click of the trigger opens the shutter and locks it open until a second press closes the shutter. The aperture can be adjusted from f/6.3 to 45. The manual focus adjustment offers distances between 6 and 100 feet.
To open the camera, lift the spring lever then use the knob at the front of the camera to pull it forward on its tracks. Once locked in place, the camera can be focused and is ready to take photos.

This Kodak folding camera is in very good vintage condition. The leather coating on the outside of the camera shows minimum wear, as shown. The camera is very clean. The bellows are tight and in excellent condition. The shutter works as it should. The view finder has a little bit of dust on it, but is clear, as shown. The mechanism for folding the camera (sliding it out and in) works, but it is stiff to slide for some reason.
