I'm watchin' you...
Add this hard-to-find vintage composition monkey head to your collection!
Display the monkey on a shelf in your curio cabinet - sure to be a fun conversation piece!
This composition monkey head was originally made as a hand puppet in the 1930s. The head slips into the puppet cloth body and can be stitched back in place, or used just to display the head.
This composition head monkey puppet is in good vintage condition. The head has long been removed from the puppet body, but you could reattach the puppet to hold the head again if you wanted to. The composition head has peeling and crazing giving it it's unique look. The paint has areas of wear, as shown, giving it even more character. The cloth could use a cleaning - we'll leave that up to you. The remnants of tape are on the cloth body (where it used to hold the head in place).
