This black hard sided storage case makes a great addition to any home decor!

ITEM CONDITION
This antique case is in good vintage condition - especially since it is 80 years old. The case is structurally sound. The latches and hinges work with ease. The outside of the suitcase shows scuffs and scrapes from years of use, as shown. The corners show wear in the leather-look covering, as shown. The leather handle is strong and securely attached. I have a case like this that has a small found hole on the right side. Any idea what the case or the hole might have been used for?
Hello there - just received your question.
Depending on the case, the hole might have been for an electric cord or other type of cord. We've had cases in the past that were used by telephone linemen and those cases had small holes in the side for test wires.
