Make yourself a topper coat using this Simplicity Pattern 2949 from the 1940s!
Use this pattern set for its intended purpose and make yourself a new wardrobe! The pattern is for Size 14, Bust 32. From the back of the pattern: Misses' Topper Coat - The lined topper, styled with a double-breasted front closing, is fitted with darts at the shoulders. The pointed collar is edged with top-stitching and two large patch pockets trim the front. An inverted pleat at the lower back edge is featured. Style 1 has a half-belt gathering in the topper back. The long sleeves in Style 2 have turned-back cuffs. Top-stitching is used as trimming.
If you prefer, you could also use the illustrations on the pattern envelope for paper projects, scrapbook or journal pages, artist trading cards, gift cards, and more! Use the pattern pages to decoupage projects, altered art and mixed media. You could even use the pattern pages as gift wrap! Be creative!

This Simplicity 2949 Pattern set is in very good, unused condition. The envelope is somewhat brittle and has slight tears around the edges, as shown. The instruction page is in very good condition, the paper has yellowed with age and is somewhat brittle. The pattern sheets are in perfect unused, uncut condition. There are no missing pieces. The pattern sheets are printed. The pattern is for Bust Size 32, Size 14. The pattern pieces are folded inside the instruction sheet.
