Vintage W.Z. Gibson Inc. Black Faux Leather Salesman Case, Original Illustration (c.1940s)

The bright illustration on the inside cover is just too cool to keep closed! Place this opened box on a shelf in your home or office and use it to store papers, craft supplies, and more.

This black faux leather case was made for the W.Z. Gibson Inc. clothing company in the 1940s. This appears to be a sample case used by salesmen to sell "smart styling" clothes.

ITEM CONDITION
This black storage case is in very good condition. The case is strong and secure, as are the hinges and handle. There is a bit of edge wear on the front corner of the case, as shown, and more wear to one of the back corners, as shown. The faux leather finish on the top side of the case has what appears to be marks left from tape being removed from the case. The inside of the case is very clean. The colorful illustration affixed to the inside of the case is in excellent condition, with no rips, tears, or wear marks.
