Maybe they were a rambunctious group of children! They were always playing tricks on their Nanny, to the point she was fit to be tied.... well... and actually WAS tied. To her door. Just another prank from these precious children.

This photograph of Annie, Herbert, Mary, and Harold Milbrath from around the late 1890s. Their parents were Lewis E (b.1851) and Martha M (b.1861) . Lewis and Martha were married in 1880 and from records we could find, had 8 children - Harold (b.1900), Mary (b.1885), Herbert (b.1887, Alfred (b.1891), Paul (b.1900), Emma (b.1881), Willie (b.1881), and Anna (b.1889). They lived in Fremont Iowa in 1900.

ITEM CONDITION
This antique photograph is in very good vintage condition. The cabinet card and photo are clean and is free of rips and tears. The back of the photograph has handwriting on it that says "Milbrath, Louis - Annie, Herbert, Mary and Harold". The photographer studio was W. Brown from Cresco Iowa.
