Vintage Newport Electric Fondue Pot by Gorham, Footed Silverplate Pot Pattern YB45 (c.1920s)
So many fun ways to use this Newport Silverplate Pot!
While the electric cord is missing, this ornate fondue pot from the 1920s still has a lot of life left in it!
Use the pot as a serving dish at parties, holidays, and even day-to-day meals - perfect for holding small snacks and candies, too. If you prefer, use the pot as a unique vase, filled with your favorite fresh cut flowers. The footed pot also makes a ornate plant holder - just add a potted plant.
ITEM CONDITION
This footed silverplate pot is in very good vintage condition. The silverplate has a beautiful aged patina, giving it a very unique look. Of course, the silver could be polished, if you prefer. There are no scratches or dents in the bowl. The footed legs are securely attached. The inside of the bowl is clean, though slightly tarnished. The electric cord for this pot is missing (perhaps you could locate a replacement). The bottom of the fondue pot is marked "Do not put in water", "Model Number YB45", "120 volt, 30 watts, AC only, 60 cycle", "Newport Silverplate".
