Vintage Belle Kogan Prismatique Planter in Sea Foam Green and White (c.1960s)
Add this hard-to-find Red Wing Pottery star shaped planter by designer Belle Kogan to your collection!
This unique planter was designed in the 1960s by artist and designer Belle Kogan for the Red Wing Pottery Prismatique line. The planters have become highly collectible and sought after. This beautiful planter is white on the outside with a delightful sea foam green on the inside. Since each piece was made by hand, this is a true one-of-a-kind planter.
Enjoy this planter on a shelf in your home, or add your favorite potted plant and place the planter on a kitchen windowsill. Put the planter on a center island or table, add water and your favorite fresh cut flowers. Use the planter in your office to hold desk clutter. You could even use the planter on your patio to hold snacks for a patio party. So many uses!
ITEM CONDITION:
This ceramic planter is in very good vintage condition. There are no breaks or cracks, and no crazing. There is one minor flea bite on the bottom of the planter, as shown. There is a spot on the rim of the planter that appears to be missing a tiny bit of glazing - it does not look like a chip to us. The inside of the planter has very light staining, as shown, and there is a drip of green glaze in the planter, also as shown. This drip appears to have happened when the planter was made. The bottom of the planter is marked "RED WING U.S.A., 791". Please use the ZOOM tool to get a close up view of this item and its condition.
