Vintage Glass Vial of Litmus Paper, Blue Paper, Blue Label (c.1940s)
While originally used in a science lab to test materials for acidity, this glass vial of litmus paper is waiting to be turned into something new!
Add the glass vial to your collection - looks great displayed in a curio cabinet. Or use it in your altered art or assemblage projects. Use the paper strips to embellish gift tags, scrapbooks, or journals. Turn the litmus paper vial into a necklace charm for a science geek friend. Of course, you "could" remove the label, empty the vial and use the vial for some other purpose. So many possibilities!
We have more glass vials available in our shop (as shown in the last photo) - choose one or buy several and make it a set.
ITEM CONDITION
This glass vial of litmus paper is in very good vintage condition. There are no breaks or cracks to the glass and the cork fits tightly. The vial is filled with strips of litmus paper. The label on the vial shows discoloration, adding to the allure of this vial. The following text is printed in blue on the label "100 Strips - Blue", "LITMUS PAPER, Keep well stoppered and from light". The strips of paper inside the vial are in excellent unused condition (although they probably wouldn't function any longer as intended).
