Antique Photograph Cabinet Card of Standing Man (c.1870s)
We may never know his name....
We think every face tells a story. What was this man's story?
It was uncannily warm during the day of his photo, so much so he simply couldn't stand it without unbuttoning his slightly worn leather jacket. He was the eldest son in his family, and the handiest farmhand on the family farm. Always the adventurer, he would often collect old photographs and posters of the sea. Oh, the sea... How he longed to have a ship of his own, sailing the endless oceans of possibility, savage beauty, peaceful waves and stormy nights.
What do you think his story was?
