This rare illustration is from an 1835 book of William Shakespeare (spelled Shakspeare on the page).

The text beneath the print reads "From the Picture in the Pofsefsion of His Grace the Duke of Buckingham at Stowe". Beneath the illustration are the words "Holl, sculpsit". Holl was a 19th Century printmaker.

The print is highly detailed - more than shown in the photos.

ITEM CONDITION
This antique illustration is in good condition, especially since it is 178 years old. The paper has yellowed and has splotches on the page, as shown. There is one very small tear on the left edge of the page. The lower right corner has a slight bend in it, as shown. The right edge of the print is where it was taken from an old book (which is how we found this page). The text "Shakspeare" and "From the Picture in the Pofsefsion of His Grace the Duke of Buckingham at Stowe" is printed under the picture, along with "Holl, sculpsit".
