ITEM CONDITION
This Remington Rand Model 5 typewriter is in very good vintage condition. The typewriter is in working condition, all keys function as they should. The typewriter slows down when advancing to the right - nothing a bit of oil won't fix. The black ribbon on the typewriter has a rip in it - we will include a new black/red ribbon for you. The typewriter is clean, with just a bit of dust on the inside frame area. The case has wear, as to be expected from something of this age, but it still strong and secure and holds the typewriter in place with it's strong latches. The typewriter has been very well protected by the cover - there is only one area on the typewriter where the paint is very lightly scratched, see photos (on the front bar where Model 5 is).
